Vault Door Option

Dependant Foundations can offer vault doors poured into your basement storage area.  The most common installation location is underneath a poured porch area. This can help with both fire resistance and security.  The advantage is having an on site secure area for personal prized possessions [guns, jewelry, high-end electronics, etc.] without the size limitations of a safety deposit box.

There are several types to choose from. There is the "Hey, look at me I'm a safe", to the raised six panel discreet  door that can blend in with standard home construction styles. These doors are ordered on a job to job basis and have varying cost for materials and installation. Below are samples of some of the available doors;

Description: Turn an entire room into a vault
Browning's Universal Vault Door is designed to fit a variety of wall types and installation requirements • Vault Door frame fits into a standard 84" x 36" door opening • External L-frame with 1/2" diameter steel J-bolt anchors (included) can be poured in place in new construction or installed in an existing door frame by using expansion anchors or lag bolts (not included)

Universal Vault Door features: Door frame "L-flange" will fit any wall with a minimum thickness of 5 1/2" • 1 5/16" thick door • 22, 1 1/4" chromed locking bolts • Lock Protection System • Locking System • 1" of  insulation in the door face • Three-spoke handle • External ball-bearing hinges • UL Listed S & G Type I Electronic Lock • Also available with a black primered finish, allowing safe owner to paint to match any decor • Internal lock release to open the door from within the vault

Description: Built-in concealment and security
Browning/Pro-Steel's Security Door has taken in-home security to a new level. With the appearance of a standard residential door, the Security Door is the perfect option for the customer who prefers to be more discreet about the presence and location of valuables. The Security Door includes a UL Listed Type I Electronic Lock with a faceplate that can be mounted and concealed up to seven feet from the vault to further hide the true nature of the door. Additionally, the Security Door is available in both flat and six-panel door styles to help blend in and can be painted to match other doors. The minimum rough door opening for the Security Door is 83" x 36".
